Trace services does not work
Hi,
I have tried the above steps to trace a service request. However, i did not find any log in tracer.
Am i missing any configurations here?

Hi Avinash,
If you are unable to see any logs in tracer, it means that you did not run or you run different service or activity. Can you try to trace different service? Please also check logs for environment in System-->Operations--Logs for any errors there just to confirm that all works correctly.

Hi,
In case if you are using SoapUI or third party tool to test it, it could be that the request is not reaching a pega server and the service never initialized, so you could not see the logs in the trace.
Could you elaborate more how you are trying, which is the service, etc

I'm trying the below scenario:
Browser 1: Logged in with OperatorA and clicked on trace in a service rule ServiceA.
Browser 2: Logged in with OperatorB and executed the connector for the above service using a DP.
I find no logs in the tracer.
How do i trace the service for the request coming from the OperatorB.

Follow these steps :
1) Create a data page. say D_ProductList
2) Go to designer studio. Click on resources.
3) it will open the PegaAPI. You can then click on data.
4) Open the service package api. And uncheck the authentication (for simplicity).

5) Open the data service.
6) Now, You can trace this service.
7) Now if you click the "try it out" of step 3, you will see that tracer traces the service.
