Best way to maintain stage & work object statuses in Headless Approach.
Hi,
We have taken headless ( Angular UI ) approach in our application. Best way to sync the case statuses with Angular UI. Exposing statusupdate as service is updating the status but how advance / back the flow using Angular UI. We have screen flow kind of scenarios in Angular UI how to handle those in Pega. Can angular UI be imported inside Pega.?

There are 3 navigation options in a screen flow: Back, Next, and Jump to Step. Next is just POST /assignments/{ID} like any other flow action submit. Back and Jump to Step however we do not currently offer endpoints for (as of 8.1).
> Can angular UI be imported inside Pega.?
If it were imported, would you want the buttons to still call REST services on a remote system?

Hi,
Case status is returned with the GET /assignments/{ID} and GET /cases/{ID} APIs. That can be leveraged to display the status in Angular, though it is best to ensure that you are not trying to maintain state of the case in angular; Pega should be maintaining the state, and leveraging the previously mentioned APIs, you can read that state.

Hi Marik,
Thanks for responding to my post. We don't have assignments in our application design. As of now we are using Rest Service calls on every click in Angular UI. We finally implemented using ChangeStage method to move work objects between workbaskets. Pega role is our application is like Enterprise Application Integration software to communicate between different systems. Its a replacement for WebMethods.
