Error with VM: failed to open OVF descriptor
I am getting this error when i import the VM LSA_731_VM_20171026.ovf in VMware Fusion.

Do you have access to or can you download Virtualbox and try it there? I am just wondering if the issue is with the file that is being imported or if the issue is with VMware.
I know this is really a solution but was curious if anyone had tried that as an option.
btw - I have imported this file into Virtualbox on my Mac and it is working as expected.

This issue was caused by the fact that Chrome on my mac was extracting the OVA file automatically.
After disabling auto opening, I was able to open the OVA file.
