VM ISSUE:Failed to open virtual machine: Failed to open OVF descriptor.
Hi ,
while importing LSA ova file in to VM ware i am getting following error hence i am not able to use VM ware , kindly help on this .
Error on VM ware :Failed to open virtual machine: Failed to open OVF descriptor.
VM ware : VMware-player-15.5.0
OS:windows -10

Is the file extension ".ova"?
It is possible that the file was corrupted when you downloaded it and you need to download it again. Use Chrome or Firefox not IE.
When an ova file is valid you can open it using 7-zip to view its contents as shown below.

i am open the file from 7z. i used google chrome to download the file , looks like issue the 8.3 architecture download file itself. could you please look into this and do the neeedful.

I have downloaded OVA files using chrome , but facing same issue. Checked archieve file using 7 zip and i can see all files in extract file . Using Windows 10 . Please suggest solution.

I am also facing the same issue to import the OVA file from 8.3 architecture course. where as i am able to import the one from 7.3/7.4.
