Error in List view after migration while resaving in 7.3.1

We upgraded from 6.1 SP2 to 7.3.1 and while revalidating the list views we are getting the below error

''Please Select a Column that is of same type as field'

Hi Naveen,

Thanks for posting on PSC.

I am not sure about your reported issue but as per my knowledge, Pega has officially deprecated ListView and SummaryView rule from Pega 7.2.x.

Why is this being done?

These rules have been ‘soft’ deprecated for a long time, basically, we’ve been telling developers and customers to modernize their UI and move away form LVs and SVs.

What does Deprecate actually mean?

  • Your list view and summary view rules will not stop working, they will work exactly as they do now in the browsers they support now.
  • It will be very difficult to create new list views and summary views in the designed studio (but not impossible)
  • A warning will be added to the rules indicating they are deprecated on save.    
  • They will not work in any new browser (MS Edge and later), and no support for these browsers will be provided for any release of Pega.
  • The reporting teams will not be adding new features and we will be eliminating our testing on these rules.
  • Bugs against LVs and SVs for a 7.1.x release will most likely be rejected with a note that the rules are deprecated and should be converted to their modern equivalent

I would advise you to upgrade all ListViews and SummaryViews to more efficient report definition rule.

Do we have any utilites to migrate list views to report definitions. I used Upgrade Accelerator Pack but while migrating to report definition, got the below error

.pyUI.pyBody.pyUIFields(2).pyFieldName: This is not a valid property, or this is a property that cannot be used here.
