AsyncAppender-ALERT-ASYNCAES ERROR Exception in SOAPAppenderPega.sendEvent()

We installed AES server 7.30 recently and added some AES appenders in prlogging.xml in all nodes(Dev,Test). We got to know that Appender changes are no more needed in Pega 7.1.9 and reverted those changes . But, we are not able to access one of the nodes(Dev) . We could see below error in logs,

[1/12/18 11:53:12:119 CET] 000001ac stderr Z log4j:ERROR Exception in SOAPAppenderPega.sendEvent()

[1/12/18 11:53:12:120 CET] 000001ac stderr Z log4j:ERROR Msg: Read timed out

[1/12/18 11:53:12:121 CET] 000001ac stderr Z log4j:ERROR Cause: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Changes we did : added AES appenders in prlogging.xml as per node configuration and installation guide. Though we reverted changes, above error is been thrown

location of prconfig.xml : /var/was/AES_Server/properties/

Kindly advise if we are missing something here

When you do a Test connectivity from PDC landing page of this monitored node, does it show success in talking to PRSOAPServlet?
