Need steps/instructions to customize the log4j Asyncappender in PRPC

We have a need to customize the PRPC's log4j AsyncAppender to send logs to a Webservice and also potentially have a retry mechanism should that service call fail for any reason. Any thoughts if any one may have done something similar in PRPC.

Pega already has an offering to meet your business requirement via AES and SOAPAppenderPega. This logging appender pushes async soap service calls for PAL and Exception logging events generated in monitored PRPC nodes. You may be able to harness some of this code but such custom Appenders will not be supported.
