System Name Change Requiring Restart

Hello,

Why is that system-name change in application requires an application restart to reflect that in the application System Settings? When the value is already changed in DB, then why is there inconsistency in replicating/showing it in the Application UI?

Hi Dheeraj,

As per my understanding, using the system name and other factors we are creating the requestors in that instances. If we change the System name all the requestors which might be active as well needs to be re-validated, so may be this might be one of the reason behind the restart required.
