Interacting with external database and internal database
Hi ,
I'm using personal edition 7.2.1.I have some queries on storing and retrieving data.
1.Where the case data get stored and how to view the old case data in internal database?
2.How to store case data in an external database?
3.How to populate data from external database to fields in the section in prpc application?
Note: I have already connected to Oracle 11g DB.

1.We can use postgre to access internal tables from pega application
2.Use Obj or RDB methods to store case data into db
3.Create a data class in your application and create reusable section in data class and create local data storage to fetch data from external db

Hi,
1. Please open the work class instance and do test connectivity to find out the table and schema associated with it.
2. Map the class name to external database.
3. You can use RDB methods to populate the data from external database.

2.How to map the class name to external database while already class name is mapped to internal database table?
3.If we use connector and meta data accelerator for external db it will generate data type with properties and Obj- activities.By using default activities we cannot access data and populate it in UI?!
