How do I manually deploy/migrate code from one environment to the next higher environment.... (Dev to QA)

Hi Henry,
If you want to automate the process of deployment using Jenkins you can go through my blog as follows:
If you want to do it manually then you can create the Rule-Admin-Product rule using Designer Studio > Application > Distribution > package wizard to create the RAP file and import it into the another environment.
Note: Also you can use the command line utility prpcUtils or prpcServiceUtils if you want to choose command line way.

Do I select 'export' and then export each ruleset individually into separate jar files and then import them individually into the next higher environment.

Yes, you can click on Export button then enter the name of your zip file which will be downloaded, later you can import it into another environment.

There are different options.
And we have a few rulesets (framework, integration etc)

If you want to export the entire application from one environment to another then you can choose the Application to include in the Product rule during the Package of application, so that the entire application will be exported. Also at the end you can click on Modify button to cross check what information has been included in the Product rule and modify according to your requirement.

Application Package wizard exports the complete application through this you will have more control over export process. You will get few extra screens in Package option where you can choose to select or deselect few rules. You can go through this documentation for better understanding.

I have the same problem. Now i use Pega 7.2.1, i think we have the difeerent menu here, and i am confused what menu i should choose,
