What is a purpose of the Work-.Sample_SendAssignment SOAP Connector?

Hi. I found a SOAP connector named "Sample_SendAssignment" in "Work-" class in Pega 6.3. It's description is empty, but it was updated by <removed email address>. Could someone please explain, what the Connector is for.
