Yes, it happens when you have done lot of changes in heavy(big) solution having multiple projects and to save all your task by performing save all (ctrl+shift+s).

Though this closes Pega Studio completely, I am able to open the studio again. But just not the solution.
I get the same error and the solution never loads, even after letting it load for 10-15 minutes.
Any suggestions to what might have went wrong?

You have to kill the Openspan task from the Task Manager, then Open the new instance of Pega Robotics.
