Connect SDK for using pega as a backend

In our project , we require to use pega as a bakend and custom native mobile app as front end. I got to know that best fit for this requirement is to use Connect SDK. But when I requested for mobile development SDK kit in pega, I got the file for Mashup SDK alone. Is this mashup SDK and connect SDK are same file or different?..please clarify Appreciate any response.thanks

The Connect SDK is part of the Pega Mobile SDK product that also includes the Mashup SDK.

The Connect SDK provides the following features and capability:

Allows you to use the IDE of your choice on the Android, iOS and Windows platforms.

Consists of a Java (Android), Objective-C (iOS) and C# (Windows) library and permits development of native mobile apps
