will case/flow join back into the main flow when a alternate flow is defined to main flow?

will case/flow join back into the main flow when a alternate flow is defined to main flow , can we do it from case explorer design time , or can we do or enable user to come back using the "Enable navigation link" and .... "Subprocess has navigation links" option opening the flow designer?

Are you referring to alternate stages? Alternate stages will not automatically transition back to a primary stage. You would need to configure a controlled transition as described in the below article.

Could you share more details (probably with some screenshots) on how are you running your alternate flow? Is it using subprocess shape?
