How can I refresh Harness when any grid update occurs

Hi,

I am copying a value of page list in repeating grid (pyWorkPage.ProductList(1).ProductName) to other single propery in different section using Declare Expression. This part works fine in clipboard but I also need to refresh the section (or maybe Harness is good) in order to show user the copied value on UI. Now I am guessing I would need to use some of the options below in "ADVANCED CONFIGURATION" in repeating grid. Is it possible to refresh other section or entire harness by using these activities?

I am using Whenever input changes and yes it does change the value on clipboard. I was talking about UI. I just made harness / section to refresh on change, for other timing, like row add / delete, PRPC seems to refresh the entire section by itself.

Hi TSUCK,

Please find the below attached image for the reference, rather than using pyWorkPage.ProductList(1).ProductName in the declare expression use  ProductList(1).ProductName in the source property of the declare expression, so that it doesn't require any refreshing of the section/harness, the value gets automatically updated whenever the page list property is updated or row is updated/deleted.

Hi,

Yes I have similar code but are you sure you would not need Harness / section refresh? In my app, we have this repeating grid in section A and the property that is copied from ProductList(1).ProductName is in section B. I understand this way Declare Expression with Whenever input change fires fine but would user still see the update without UI refresh??

I just did this by Refresh Harness although it would be better user experience without Harness refresh..

HI Tsuck,

What is the change tracking you are using in the declare expression?

As the source is the pagelist property,if you use "whenever the input changes" the target property should automatically update when input changes.

Please let me know if this is not working.
