Spaces entered in a text property got trimmed after refreshed/next Screen
Hi,
This is a UI interface issue.
How to save a field with space value exactly the same value after refreshed?
example:
field is 5 txt length. i entered 4 and space. I check clipboard and it has space. this is correct.
Next, I press Refresh or NEXT button and BACK. i checked Again. i check the clipboard and space no longer there. in UI also the space no longer there.
Question: is there a way to retain the space entered in a field after refresh?

Hi,
Pega will trim the spaces after your test string. if you have spaces in your text value, then it will be posted as it is. but if you enter spaces towards end of the value, pega will trim it.

Hi elbimbo29,
RajaJanga mentioned correctly that Pega remove the space before and after the string value.
As per Standards, not just in Pega application otherwise also, we are not suppose to keep any spaces in the start and end of the string, which might cause issue when we post this data to server to be saved in DB.
