After Pagedown on Mainframe partial screen, the text property of regions does not change
Hi,
We have a base screen and a popup on that as Partial screen.
That popup has of tabular data 6 rows and 5 columns. First column is editable field and all other columns are display only regions. We can do pagedown / pageup to see next page of data. we need to search on other column values and if a match is found on row 4 then type A on (Col1,Row 4) and press Enter.
If data is on page 1 then we are able to read their values using region.text etc.
Bu if we do page-down then mainframe screen gets changed to page-2 but the value of region.text doesn't change region.text keeps showing the values of Page-1 only.
I have interrogated the title of partial screen as match region.
Please suggest.
If there are any videos or code samples, that will also help.

@PiyushT9 It is generally not possible to provide code samples for text applications as they aren't really publicly accessible. When I have had popups like this on emulators before, I generally use a mixture of partial screens. You may need more than one. Here are the layers you might need. I would start with as few of layers as possible though depending on how you can identify your repeating rows in your "popup".

- Identify the screen itself that contains the popup. I'll refer to this a scrMain.
- Identify the partial screen that does not repeat and starts at whatever specific row the popup appears on.
- Use the headers or some text at the border (like asterisks) as the match region for the popup partial screen. I'll refer to this as scrOuterPS.
- Identify the repeating rows of the partial screen using a RegEx as a match region if possible. If the format of the row does not repeat in any pattern, then you might need to include something like the border if each row has one as the match region. I'll call this scrRow.
- After you send PageDown as this should fire the NewScreenShowing event (an event on the adapter itself). You will want to wait for this event. Be sure to send the PageDown on the setup execution link of this event to properly wait for it.
- scrOuterPS is not really used (or needed if you can avoid it), and since it does not repeat, its key will always be None.
- scrRow will be used to interact with each row and you can interrogate any regions or fields inside of it. Each instance will have a separate key, so you'll need to provide one to access each one.
I believe the secret will be using the NewScreenShowing event from the adapter.
