Will a work object be only created of a class marked as "is a class group" or "belongs to a class group"?
Hi,
Can we create work objects of a class marked as "does not belong to a class group"? Ultimately, that class also maps to a table. I understand that we can create work objects of classes that are marked as "belongs to a class group" and "is a class group" because they will be inheriting the properties of work- class. But not sure we can create wo of "does not belong to a class group" marked classes.

Your understanding is absolutely correct in work object cases. In case of work classes you can only create work objects if a class marked as "is a class group" or "belongs to a class group".
Ideally you should not be able to save a work class with "does not belongs to a class group" setting.

and how should be that? by simply inheriting from Work- Class? If so, i think its not a best practice to create work objects of classes that do not belong to a class group. Any comments?
