Getting error after running case
Hi Team,
I am practicing System Architect Essentials 7.2 by creating cases(Onboarding and Benefits Erollment) and worked fine with the running of Onboarding case, but later for some reason I deleted the cases from Designer studio -> System -> Refactor -> Classes. Now again I created cases with same names and tried to run onboarding case I getting the below error. Please help me in running the case.

Here is an article of an identical error message that someone experienced in the past, however I don't think the root cause is identical in your situation. It is however a good quick and short read.

pyStartCase is the default starting flow that Pega executes when creating cases. When the flow attempts to create a case, it references a default section (New) of rule type harness (Rule-HTML-Harness). See the attached screenshots (pyStartCase > Case creation settings section).
The "new" harness where the execution error occurs (which seems to be the culprit) is located in a Pega UI Kit. You mentioned that you deleted classes and cases through a refactor. I am not sure exactly what rules are in your system at the moment but I think you deleted some classes and rules that the Onboarding application is build on top of, and perhaps some important rules in the Onboarding Ruleset itself. The Onboarding Ruleset contains 137 rules with 7 rules being application metadata. There are a lot of possibilities and it is important to know exactly which rules one is deleting when refactoring.
I think 2 things might be worth looking into.
1. Check to see if you have the UI KIT 7 Ruleset.
2. Reimport that Onboarding RuleSet.

I can send you the rulesets for you to import if you'd like. You can also send an email and open up a support request to [email protected]. It may be easier to deploy a fresh VM and start from scratch.

@PhanindraReddyB, I too had this issue when practising in exercise system. If we delete few cases/ data types and create the same cases again it shows such errors. 1> Tick the 'skip harness' option. 2> Ask pega team to reset the exercise system.
