PegaMarketing 07.21 Extra built on?
Hi,
When looking at the application definition of PegaMarketing 07.21, I can see it is built on PegaMarketing_FW 07.21 and PegaMarketing_FieldMarketing 07.21 applications.
When I drill down to that last one, I see that it is also built on PegaMarketing_FW 07.21.
Is this intentional? And if so, what is the purpose of this construct?

Wouldn't the result be the same when building only on Field Marketing? Cause that application is built on PegaMarketing-FW. So it doesn't (?) add to the application stack. Imho it can only influence the order of the rulesets (?).
Current situation:
PegaMarketing built on
- PegaMarketing_FW built on
- PegaMarketing_FW_PreReqs
- PegaMarketing_FieldMarketing built on
- PegaMarketing_FW built on
- PegaMarketing_FW_PreReqs

Yes, that is intentionally done.
Field Marketing application is in-turn built on PegaMarketing-FW. There is no wrong in the application configuration.
What we are doing here in this step is, plugging FieldMarketing into the existing Pega Marketing (PM) solution.
By this your application gets support for field marketing.
Here we are actullay leveraging Multi Built on application concept which is newly introduced in Pega 7.2. Otherwise in earlier versions of PegaMarketing, lets say 7.1.3, for the same step we used to add FieldMarketing as part of Application rulesets.
