Ranges in Decision Table

Hi

I have setup a decision table as below

for Investor Codes

If I send any value <= 9 returns 1

If I send 10 it returns 4

If I send 65 it returns 4

If I send 31 or 36 it returns 3

However if  I send 32 or 45 , I was expecting 4 (as its out of range for given criteria) but it returned 3.

Can anyone help how ranges are evaluated here ?

Hi there,

The reason for getting value 3 is, inputted value 32 and 45 is less than 60. So, this is the primary reason, decision table is returing 3 as output value.

If you would like 4 to be returned as an output for value 32 and 45, instead of placing the entire logic in one row differentiate the logic in multiple rows. Then, decision table evaluate each row seperately and will return 4 as output value.
