How to use OR condition in Decision table using Ranges in single IF Condition
Hi
My Senario
Property Return
>= =<
If 0 50 Y
75 100
Else If N
For the above Decision table if i am passing a value as 60 , It is returning value as "Y" Where as it should return value as "N"
Can you please provide your inputs?

Are you sure you are giving the correct input property? What you have posted here should return a N value as you have stated. Can you please provide screenshots of the decision table and specifically the property dialog that is being evaluated?

Yes , the value i am passing is 60. and the return value i am getting as 'Y'.

Can you try to configure in this manner. Else try to configure <= first and >= next.

I am not sure whats the exact issue since you DT looks fine. But still give a try as above.

Since the below logic is not working, we have already implemented the above logic which you have mentioned.
Since i have around 100 rows which has to return the same value ,we have tried the below logic, and it was not working as Expected

Hi,
I got the exact issue now.. You should not be using OR condition for this purpose.
Each combination should be in separate Else IF Rows...
The issue you are facing is, e.,g: Input is 60.. So as per your first table, how the table logic behave is,
It checks if 60 is >=0 OR >=75. Its true. Since 60 is >0. Then it goes to the next coulmn and
checks if 60 is <=50 OR <=100. It is also true. Since 60 is <100. That is the reason, the return value is "Y".
I guess this scenario cant be achieved using OR. You should either follow if, else if, else if,.... or Decision Tree or try to set up data in such a way "Y" will be in otherwise return value.
