DB connection error
We are running Pega 6.2 SP1 on a Websphere environment with a DB2 database. When we have infra changes, the Websphere server is stopped, the the database server stoppd. After the infra change the DB server is started and then Websphere is started. Then Pega is working fine. But when the DB server is started later then the Websphere server we got a Database connection error, even when the DB server is up and running. Is there a way that Pega does a automatic reconnect to the database server?

How is Websphere connecting to DB2? Is the data source configured in Websphere? Would it possible to check the configuration in Websphere to see if the adequate properties have been set up for reconnection?

The short answer is no. Pega requires an engine restart after any db outages, even with the latest release as far as I know. It would have been a desirable enhancement request for the future releases.
