you need standard edition pega media, under scripts directory of the media, you need to install postgres on your mac before hand and then run install.sh (similar to unix, mac under the hood is unix).. not easy unless you are technical enough to struggle through. I think a lot of people wish we would support mac for personal edition, but again that is up to product management if we want to do that or not.
