Installation of PEGA Personal Edition using Parallels Desktop in Macbook Pro
Hi,
Has anyone been able to successfully use Parallels Desktop to install PEGA Personal Edition ?
I have setup a brand new Windows 11 ARM environment , and I am trying to install the PEGA Personal Edition here. But when I click on the install.bat file, the file is not even opening.
I suspect some pre-requisite steps have to be completed before I can start installing this, but I do not find any documentation for this.
Any help will be appreciated.

I am not installing on a mac with parallels, but I did notice similar when installing on Windows. I noticed that after clicking on install.bat nothing happened.
Next I opened a command prompt, and cd to the directory where install.bat is located, and launched the install from there, & that works. As shown here:

@PhilipShannon Hi this issue was fixed later by correcting the folder on which the bat file was running. The issue was that the previous folder was a shared folder.
I have one more issue now : while running the Personal Edition I am getting an Connection Refused error for 5432 port being used by postgres while installing the files.
Any idea why such an error might be happening ? I have created Inbound rules for both postgres and tomcat , but it is still not working.

During the installation be sure to test the ports:
After it's installed and running you could use TCPView (or similar utility) to confirm that postgres is running at port 5432:
re: "I have created Inbound rules for both postgres and tomcat" are you are referring to the windows firewall here? Even if this is blocking ports from remote systems, you should be able to get it up and running on the Windows instance, and be able to access via browser at http://localhost:8080/prweb
