How to Dynamic display the lenth of the input text

I have a requirement from the customer that should dynamic display the length of the input text.

If there are some body know how to Addressed on the pega.

We had try the follow method which had a bad customer experience about that.

  • Create an Input Text control and a property for that control
  • Create another property to save the length of the input text and display on the screen.
  • Add any key event on the input Text and post value for this event, then calculate the length of the input text and populate to display on the screen.

You can create a property of type Numeric, InputLength. Create a Declare-Expression on property "InputLength". Get size of the text from property associated with input-text. And Change-Tracking should be "Whenever input changes". And then you can refer this new property for lenght of text.
