Prefix inside a text input
I have a requirement of a text input with a static prefix, for example
AA............
Is there any non custom way to get this? what could be a best practice?

In text input control navigate to presentation tab and on read only format you can find Auto prepend option to add static prefix. Refer the attached image

In that case you may have to go ahead with a custom solution and configure a pre data transform to populate the text field before rendering it on UI as editable.
