Query on LSA (7.1) Quiz - Design Pattern: Dynamic Class Referencing
Which of the following describes a typical use case for the Dynamic Class Referencing pattern? (Choose One)
1. To route work to a workbasket that is given by the operator’s work group
2. To initiate implementation layer work types from the framework (Correct Answer)
3. To reuse flow from the framework in the implementation layer
4. To make a flow in the framework layer more reusable
W.r.t. the above quiz question, we have seen in the course that a dynamic behavior in the flow rule like routing to WB where the WB name can be sent as a parameter to the flow rule. Then, why are options 3 and 4 incorrect?

3 and 4 would be correct regardless using DCR.

But you are correct that if DCR were used to name an Implementation layer WB or WG then 3 and 4 would be DCR use cases.

DCR: You can dynamically refer classes or other attributes. i.e. you can re-use rules to achieve DCR.

Reusability - Re-use rules. This can be done from one class to another. Doesn't have to be a framework and implementation always. For ex: Rule in A-B can be used by another rule in A-B-C class. There is no frame work here.

3 & 4 talk about re-usability. Even without DCR, this can be done.

DCR needs re-usable rules, but re-usability doesn't need DCR. Hence 3 and 4 are incorrect.
