IAC gadgets embedded in Pega7 portal???? Very confused

I've been told its possible to have a IAC gadget that displays content from another website (such as cnn.com) in a Pega7 portal. After reading a few articles on pdn and mesh it seems like IAC is only for embedding Pega7 applications in NON-pega webpages. For example, the IAC defintion in help: "The Internet Application Composer (IAC) enables you to embed a PRPC application as a gadget on the pages of a Web application located on your intranet, extranet, or internet site." Can someone clarify whether it is possible to have cnn.com display via gadget in my pega7 portal? Or if I've confused the purpose of IAC completely? Thanks.

IAC is typically used to embed pega in a non pega application. You can either use integrations or embeded gadgets provided by external parties in pega UI using sections and controls.
