Hi!
We are also getting the same error.
After IE cache cleared, this error repeated.
If compare HRServices_Specifications.xlsx with template HRServices_UserStories.xlsx (get it when click "Download Template" on the same screen), we can see differences. Maybe this differences are the cause of this error.
We are use downloadable exercise sistem ащк BA course.

The work around for this is to access the Specification Tab and then download an Excel spreadsheet.
Actions>Export to Excel. Save this Spreadsheet somewhere (in my example I will call it Spreadsheet A). Open Spreadsheet A and copy the information from the spreadsheet downloaded from the training environment (which I will call Spreadsheet B) into the newly downloaded spreadsheet (Spreadsheet A). Now Spreadsheet A and Spreadsheet B will look similar. Save Spreadsheet A with the new information in it. Upload Spreadsheet A into your system. Actions>Import from Excel.

What browser and version are you using?
What error message do you get when you try the work around?
Are you able to download the Excel spreadsheet? If not, what is the error message?
If you are able to download the spreadsheet, what error message do you get on the upload?
Thanks,
Bill Rathert

Bill,
please don't be mad at me for stepping on this post, but this is a failure in the course materials.
There is a disconnect in Project Methodology between the spreadsheet made available for download (PegaBPM-based) and the HR Services app in the virtual machine we make available for download (Scrum-based).
The easiest fix for now is to change the project methodology in the HR Services Application Overivew.
On the header just to the left of the big Designer Studio, select HR Services > Open Overview
On the right side of the Application Overivew landing page is a section for Project Methodology
Click the Edit button and select PegaBPM from the list, then save your changes.
Now, go do the import exercise and it will work just fine.

Thanks. Eddie. I knew we had different spread sheets out there, but I sent both of those to Edison and that didn't work. All good now! I spoke to a few people and couldn't get any different solutions. Was going to email you next. Thank you.

Good, I am happy to know it is working for you. Sorry about the botched exercise.
I am working on getting a usable spreadsheet posted to the download link.
