Upgrade Personal Edition
Hi,
Can i upgrade my Personal Edition to the latest release.
I have 7.1.2, can i update in to 7.1.9?

Nope. Personal Edition is not supported.
Refer to Page No 9 in paltform support guide.

Are the following steps feasible for this scenario ?
- Major Skim in 7.1.2 (Optional)
- Create a product Zip from 7.1.2
- Import the Zip into 7.1.9
- Revalidate and save

Try this:
- Use the Application Packaging Wizard to export your work including work objects and data in an export ZIP file. Save the file somewhere secure.
- Uninstall the original version of Personal Edition.
- Install the new version of Personal Edition.
- Import the export ZIP file with your application into the new version of Personal Edition.
