I need a method to modify the operator ID. I am using external authentication. For example: When a person changes their name they are updated in Active Directory. I now need to modify the operator ID in PRPC to match active directory and to match the new name. Example: Jen.X.Wale is now Jen.X.Tiger. Need to change operator ID from Jen.X.Wale to Jen.X.Tiger.
Thanks for your response Sadatsaeed. So if Jen has been working in Pega as operator id Jen.X.Wale and gets married and her active directory entry changes to Jen.X.Tiger, then her operator ID in Pega will change to Jen.X.Tiger the next time she logs into Pega? I don't think that is happening in my configuration but I will check and see. We are accumulating many duplicate entries. One method I found was to basically disable the old operator id but that just leaves a bunch of operator ids that are not being used.
At my organization too I am facing a similar issue. We do not have single sign on and users have to login to the PEGA application at which point of time they are validated against the LDAP/Active Directory settings. Also if Jen.X.Wale who is now Jen.X.Tiger is granted a new OperatorID and logs in as Jen.X.Tiger, the previous WOs that Jen.X.Wale was working on are no longer available to this new Jen.X.Tiger OperatorID. Has any one faced a similar issue and how would you solve this?
