Specify custom SOAP action URI - Rule-Service-SOAP
When i updated the "Specify custom SOAP action URI" in the Requests Tab of Rule-Service-SOAP. If a consumer is requesting sending me a request and hitting operation XXXXX some how its reaching pega as XXXXXRequest
This is only happening when having this checkbox selected, Any thoughts ?
We are using V7.1.7

Note that for each SOAP service operation that requires a custom SOAP action URI, check the “ Specify custom SOAP action URI ” checkbox and enter a value for SOAP action URI. This will result in the operation?WSDL published by PRPC displaying the custom SOAPaction URI value specified on the Request tab instead of the PRPC generated SOAPaction value. Important Note: This override will always occur when the checkbox is checked; this permits values such as < blank >
or “ ” (empty quotes) to be specified, if desired.

This is the response from PEGA Support
1. Whenever you use custom URI, the service soap rule name should be same as the root element of ParseXML rule.
2. Or else whenever you make a request from SOAP UI you need to add the Service Method name i.e soap service name to the end of the url as shown below:
http://localhost:8080/prweb/PRSOAPServlet/SOAP/A2379/StandardSupport change this to
http://localhost:8080/prweb/PRSOAPServlet/SOAP/A2379/StandardSupport/CreateNewWork
