You are not able to change the property type once a property is created. If you had created the InterpersonalSkillRating property wrongly, then delete it away and recreate a new one.

Is this Pega default rules that only on creation we can set the type of the property and we can't change it later as per need?

Another Question I have

If I delete this and create new property in same Name "InterpersonalSkillRating". Do I need to make any changes to section/Property that refrence this property ?
(Because In a complex applcations it will be a difficult one)

Yes, Malar. Property types cannot be changed once the property has been created. It's by design from Pega 7 onwards.

As for your second question, it depends. If the property type previously was DateTime and you had used the Date control in some sections, then obviously when you change the property type to Decimal you will need to change the control used in the sections itself.

However, if you had used the control defined in the property in the section, then there is no need to update the section.
