Rulebase Compare Wizard - Credentials issue

Hi,

In step 1 of Rulebase Compare wizard, we need to provide username and password.

I am able to proceed to next step if I enter credentials i.e. username = prpcuser and correct passpword. However, I can't proceed if I enter any other valid credentials. Below is the error message:

Error message - Label:** Failed to connect, please verify connection parameters, username and password. Cause: (** SOAP service failed)

What could cause this issue?

For Rulebase compare prpc invokes an authenticated soap service method SynchronizeFromSource. The connect soap rule PegaAccel-Management-Synchronization • RequestSyncOnTarget requires and passes the user name and password of the target system (not the source system) in the request. If the credentials provided are not a valid credentials in target system, then you will get the above exception. Can you let me know if you are providing valid credentials for target system?
