I agree that option A is correct , but why not option D ?
in the parameters tab of a rule, i could see data types as : boolean,string and integer only !

The data types available for parameters actually depends on the rule type. For example, a flow, activity and data transform all have different data types available for parameters. Page name is not available for all rule types.
