Case Specialization
Hello,
I saw the following sentence in Case Specialization lesson: "We can a circumstance-qualify a case type rule with a single property, a date range, or a property and date range."
I understand how you can specialize a case using Case Designer, Details tab and Specialization. My understanding is that you can use only one property in order to specialize a case and, after you did the specialization you are not able to change it but you can define more specializations based on it.
Also, I can see an option to specialize a case using Case Type rule from App explorer, Save->Specialize by circumstance, and here you have the option to chose a property - value and date property - date value pairs.
My question is: how can you specialize a case with date range or property and date range?

You can specialize by property and date range however not through the case designer. You would use multi variate circumstancing in order to do this and specify the template and definition on the specialized case type rule.

My issue is that "We can a circumstance-qualify a case type rule with a single property, a date range, or a property and date range." sentence is vague. It makes me think that for cases I have same options as for sections (to give an example)
And is not the case
In my opinion, in the course should be specified that only using a multi variate circumstancing a case can be specialized with a date range.

Thanks for clarifying. I do agree that the courseware is misleading. The sentence should really state "We can a circumstance-qualify a case type rule with a single property, an as-of date property, or a property and as-of date property directly in the Specialized Case Type Rule configuration." The course development team will be notified and it should be corrected shortly.
