Problem with Special property

Hello, i got few questions about special properties.

1) I have been set "Cannot be included as an input field" check box on the Advanced tab of the Property form. When i reconsider and try undo my actions (try turn off that check box and save Property), but I am getting an error (pic. related):

Hello, i got few questions about special properties.

1) I have been set "Cannot be included as an input field" check box on the Advanced tab of the Property form. When i reconsider and try undo my actions (try turn off that check box and save Property), but I am getting an error (pic. related):

Special—
The value of Special has been set to true

So, here's the question. How turn off this check box and set pySpecial to false.

2) What exactly special means to non standard properties and why i can't turn that check box off?

HI Alex, 

On my Pega 7.3 system, I can see the same behavior. Once you select it and save the property rule, if you want to unselect it, you will receive an error message. 

Here is the online help for "Cannot be included as an input field " check box.

Cannot be included as input field

Select to turn on the pySpecial restriction for this rule. If selected, users cannot directly enter a value for this property on an HTML form. This restriction improves system security and reduces the chance of errors that can occur when one property is in some cases computed and in other cases directly input.

Such properties are sometimes called special properties.

Note: Choose a naming convention for special properties, to help everyone on your team remember them. (Standard special properties have a property name starting with the letters px.)

Hi Susan and thanks for your responce!

I already read that article and still don't get it. How i can turn off this check box, if l accidentally place it?

Resaving property from older version without this check box doesn't do much. Deleting property is only one workable solution?

It seems that deleting property and re-creating it is the workaround for now.
