Removing Check-in/Check-out for delegate rule

Hi

I have a requirement to remove check in/checkout for delegate rules for business users.I have removed checkin/checkout option by deselecting Use check-out? option in Ruleset level.Now i'm getting only save button.But with save button one user's changes may be overwritten.How to overcome this problem without check-in check out option?

This is exactly what check-in/check-out is supposed to do, make sure one user's changes are not overwritten by anothers?  Why are you not able to use check-in/check-out?  What is the rationale behind the requirement to remove check-in/check-out?

Hi Sean,

I have a similar requirement where some users should be able to "Read-Only" the Decision Table rules.

For this I have delegated the rules but how to remove the Checkout option for that user?

When I try to set the ARO for Rule-Declare-DecisionTable class with Write Rule/Instance as 0, the Checkout option still appears in the portal, nevertheless it doesn't work.

Any clue what I could be doing incorrect?

Hello,

Trying to better understand your scenario.  Here is the simple feedback I can provide.

Best practices suggest check in and check out is disabled for rulesets that are for delegation.  That feature is disabled on the ruleset security tab.
