Removing application rule from product rule

PRPC version: 7.1.8

How we can refrain promoting application rule with product rule? Because when promoting product rule, application rule goes with the product automotically? Do we have any option to remove this in pega?

so should we be excluding Rule-Application in R-A-P?

could you please try enabling the option exclude non-versioned rules available in R-A-P rule and share your observations...

The best way to do this to exclude the non-versioned rules while creating the Product. Just uncheck the checkbox next to the RSV lisitngs.
