Query on LSA (7.1) Quiz - Asynchronous Integration - Custom Connector Queue
Which of the following records does not need to be created when defining a custom connector queue? (Choose One)
A connector requestor processor
A queue class
An Agent
An activity to get the results (Correct Answer)
In the above question, we also do not have to create the Agent as we use the standard agent "ProcessConnectQueue" right? Also, if we already have a Connector Request Processor, we can add our custom queue to that right? Then, why do we need a new Connector Request Processor? Thanks in advance.

The Standard Agent is associated to System-Queue-DefaultEnty records so is not applicable.
A Connect Processor is associated to System-Queue-ExecutionRequest-Connect-* records.
System-Queue-ExecutionRequest-Connect-Default records are processed by the ProcessConnectQueue Agent within the Pega-IntSvcs ruleset.
The Activity that the Agent calls is named "ProcessQueue".

By "add" assuming you mean "extend".
"Queue Class" and "Connector Request Processor" are virtually synonymous.
You would need to define a new Agent to specifically look for records having that new Queue Class.
What you do not have to define is a new Activity - "ProcessQueue" can be reused by way of inheritance,
