This weekend we released the new version of the Pega Marketing Consultant learning path that is based upon Pega Marketing v7.13

Hence my recommendation is you enroll into this course instead and use the new Exercise System that is based upon VirtualBox.

Pega Marketing Consultant learning path:

• Pega Decision Management Essentials (7.13) course – 2 days

• Pega Marketing Essentials (7.13) course – 3 days

• CPMC Practice Exam (7.13) – 2 hours

• Certified Pega Marketing Consultant exam – 90 minutes

I tried to download and that works, but i cant lauch the virtual machine. An error message that file is corrupt. I uncompress with 7z

Hello Marco.

I click to download, The message that expires in 10 seconds appears and I use the right click to save target as..

When is downloaded, I use 7z to uncompress, but a warning error appears regarding it can not open the file.

If i do, I try to open with VMware, and then appears the messages like is a corrupt file.

To make sure we are helping you the right way, which of the following two are you going for?

1. "Pega Decision Management Essentials (7.1)" with exercise system "DSME715_SS_PVS_20150224.zip"
2. "Pega Decision Management Essentials (7.13)" with exercise system "marketing_713ml9_pvs_20151201.zip"

In addition what kind of laptop do you have?

1. Windows OS
2. Apple OS X

It sounds like the archive got corrupted during the downloaded.

You can very easily verify this by testing the archive. See the two screenshots below.

If the test fails, you need to download the archive once more.

I'm glad you successfully downloaded and extracted the Exercise System.

Yes, correct. We converted all Exercise Systems from VMware to VirtualBox.

I told its done, but i installed the Virtual Box, and launch the machine, but the page cant be displayed

So you are getting the following screen? (see below)

Please give the system 5 minutes to start up. (Sometimes it takes a bit longer depending on your laptop configuration.)

After that try the following URL: http://prpc.local:8080/

If the page is still not displayed, you can sign on as "architect" with password "password". This triggers a self diagnostic script. After 30 seconds please can try the URL again.

I get this error when I try to open the VM:

File not found: prpc-cl5.vmdk

I have downloaded the ZIP 2-3 times but I keep getting the same error.

Zip is this - DSME715_SS_PVS_20150224

Any pointers?

Please be aware that:

• "Pega Decision Management Essentials (7.1)" requires exercise system "DSME715_SS_PVS_20150224.zip"
• "Pega Decision Management Essentials (7.13)" requires exercise system "marketing_713ml9_pvs_20151201.zip"

If you just started the course it is recommended you take v7.13

Thanks Marco. I understand your point. I am keen on V7.13 but I am not sure if I can use the same Credit-Key to enroll for V7.13 as the one I used for V7.1?

Thanks Marco. I was able to download the file and launch the URL. I am going through the lessons for PEGA DECISION MANAGEMENT ESSENTIALS (7.13) but not able to hear any audio in the videos being played in each lesson. There are only sub-titles present as the video plays. Let me know if thats how it is designed or I am missing anything?

With one exception(Improving Customer Experience with Next-Best-Action - one video)  all the videos are sub-titles only.

VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes (VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED).

Hi ,

I downloaded the PVS (lp7_71ml2_pvs_013014)from the course "LEVERAGING PEGA 7 (7.1)". 

It doesn't contain any VBOX file, which it is supposed to have as per the quick start guide.

Please guide.
