Business events are no longer available starting in PRPC 7.1.6.

we want to leverage pega business events in Pega Version 7.2.2.

Based on below URL ,are the business events no longer available starting  from in PRPC 7.1.6.? please confirm ?

Hello,

Looking at the Pega 7.2.2 help, it appears business events are deprecated. https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v722/procomhelpmain.htm

In designer studio, the link isn't there anymore so you'd have a bit more of a challenge setting the requisite records up, but theoretically existing business events should continue to work and could be used as the jumping off point for making new ones. Mind you deprecation is the first step on the path to desupporting the functionality, so if you do choose to build your application around deprecated features, eventually you may need to rework all of that when you upgrade and it's not supported at all anymore.
