Pega 7.1.7 ML7 is not parsing the XML Stream
Hi,
Parse XMLs are failing after upgrade to Pega 7. What can be the issue ?

Can you provide the error message and ML version ?
Can you try creating a dynamic system setting "switchtooldassembler" with value " true" in "Pega-IntegrationEngine" owning ruleset and try again ?

I faced same issue in 7.1.6.
Parse xml which uses Apply rule doesn't map all properties which got fixed after adding DASS mentioned by Sudharshan.

@sudharsan - We have fixed few parsing issues in Pega 7 by enabling the DSS you mentioned. However to me this sounds like a workaround that need a fix anyways.
Are future milestone releases fixing the parsing issue with the new assembler?

Yes, this is a workaround and I believe this has been acknowledged as a product bug. But I don't have any information regarding the exact ML release this bug has been scoped to be addressed.

XML parsing logic is changed in Pega 7 compare to old versions, DSS only revert the parsing logic to older versions. Please raise a SR with exact issue new parsing logic, this may help them to resolve the issue with new parser and proivde the fix.
