Pega 7 upgrade CheckList
Hi,
We are planning to upgrade our application V 6.2 from 7.1, do we have any Checklist which needs to be followed while upgrading our application to V7.1. If so please share me the Checklist it will be very helpful for me.

To summarize the important points in a higher level, please ensure,
- Platforms (Application server/database/Operating system) are supported by Pega 7
- All the appropriate privileges have been given to the upgrade user in the database as mentioned in the upgrade guide
- Enough space is available in the system from which the upgrade is triggered
- Appropriate tablespace available in the database
- New rules are not introduced in the middle of upgrade
- Schema names and migration/upgrade properties are correctly set

Also .... please ensure that when you run the Pega7 upgrade you launch the scripts from the dB server directly. Dont try and do this across the WAN as the jobs will run very slowly.

We just posted an Upgrade checklist as an overview of the upgrade process. This checklist summarizes the steps to upgrade from any previous version of PRPC to current version of Pega 7.
