Pega 25.X AI based report definition assistant for checking summary of data
Pega should think of a report assistant agent which can take chat inputs from business user and give the data by running reports in back end and giving summary. business users can create a standard report definition for future runs. it helps lot to business users and higher management to get data in finger tips. they don;t need to learn sql or ask any help.
report assistant should do machine learning on business tables and has capability to read the chat message and run the query for getting information required.
perplexity AI was able to get the summary from multiple sources. same way pega can make summary from business tables. we can run some agents to convert existing data into business intelligence data for AI assistant to use.

Great thought! But, I feel this idea is already aligned with the Pega product "Pega GenAI Analyze" and Insights. With this feature, users can summarize data, create charts, and view insights from specific tables using natural language.
I doubt Pegasystems will focus on building a common chatbot or assistant at the instance level to query across multiple data tables simultaneously. Pega has consistently recommended using external BI tools for advanced reporting, as it positions itself primarily as a Low-Code Automation and BPM platform, rather than a full-fledged BI solution.
It would be great to hear what the folks at Pegasystems thinks about this too!

@duraisankar The world is reimagined in AI. If you ask perplexity with normal english like list of olympic gold medals won by each country in last 30 years. It gives beautiful summary view of the report. Pega report assistant feature will help you in building report definition and its not a interactive chat bot in normal english. for suppose Chief financial officer wants to take some audit data he has to take some help from a pega resource. My idea is to target non pega users of the application. perplexity AI is general and any one can use it and reports were amazing. if we keep a similar private AI feature like that. it would be next level for pega product in terms of business interaction.
