Not able to understand why Sub-Reports question is wrong in QUIZ of CONFIGURING REPORTS lesson
Hi,
I answered the question related to SUB-REPORTS in CONFIGURING REPORTS lesson on CSSA Course, but unable to understand why my choice doesn't suit SUB-REPORTING functionality.
Could somebody please explain why option 3 &4 are wrong, where as option 2 is right.

Questions 3&4 are virtually the same except question #3 filters out resolved Purchase Requests.
The result can be achieved by inner joins.
Looking at SysAdm -> Associations you can see the relation ship between Operator and OrgDivision.
Operator -> OrgUnit -> OrgDivision
A Purchase request points to its create Operator
Purchase Request -> Operator
If you join Purchase Request to an Data-Admin-Operator-ID query you would list every Purchase Request the Operator created.
To get a count of those Purchase Requests instead simply change the Purchase Request ID column to COUNT().
Question #2 is asking for OrgDivision count.
You could define a sub report as:
(Remove Duplicate Rows) Operator -> OrgUnit -> OrgDivision
In the main report you could do: Operator COUNT(OrgDivision)
