Jar Files To Include in Product Rule
My understanding is Jar files are placed in the application server's lib directory followed by server restart. In the Product rule we have the option of including Jar Files, So In which situation we are including the jar files in Product rule and how is this approach different from placing the jar in lib directory? If I need to include a jar file in Product rule how can I do this?

Hi,
Jar files will be placed in application server's lib directory when we are connecting to any third party application from PRPC. If PRPC requires jar file we need to place it either in application server lib directory or load directly in database(from 6.x onwards).
Product rules will use when we are moving application from one environment to another environment(Let's say from dev to QA).

If I need to load jar file in database of other environment, how to create it in source environment and associate with the application.

Hi ,
1.Create Rule-Admin-Product rule
2. Download the jar file.
3. Go to Target system and import the jar file using Import wizard as below.
Designer studio -> Application -> Distribution ->Import
