Integration - issue with requires authentication checked
HI, We have a issue with called activity in soap service activity has authenticate checked and throwing the below exception "You lack access required to execute the rule and so on". My service package's requires authentication is checked. There are some other activities which are called in service activity that has autehtnicate checkbox checked and getting this error. To solve this, We are trying to invoke service activity and then map requestor with a valid operator to change the context and execute remaining steps in the activity. can you please let me know how to accomplish this, we are using pega 6.1sp2.

Though you will set a valid requestor in service activity but prior to running any activity with authenticate checked pega will again check the context which is unauthenticated so as per my knowledge we had same issue in my last project and solved by hotfix. I am not sure about the exact hot fix number but below answer may help u.
“Apply HFix-20837 along with few changes in the service layer to bypass authentication for all services that do not have authentication enabled on their service packages”.
