Column Inclusion - For exposing properties

I have exposed the properties using DB scripts via. Database. Is it mandatory to select the Property Inclusion in advance tab of property rule to required/recommended...after running the db script in the backend?

What is difference between ‘Required’ or ‘Recommended’ (or) the both conveys the same meaning based on the context?

Is it best practice to add ‘Required’ or ‘Recommended’ option in the column inclusion after running the DB scripts in the back end? Is it really helps at the runtime. Please advice.

It has no direct effect but rather is a recommendation to DBAs based on the developer selection
